VIENNA, Ohio (WKBN) - Pymatuning Valley took down Mathews 50-0 in high school football action on Thursday night.

The Lakers jumped out in front with the help of running back Ty Vickery and quarterback Ryan Croston piling up the stats in the first half as the Lakers opened up a 43-0 lead at halftime.

With the win, Pymatuning Valley improves to 7-1 after a 3rd straight win and will next face off with Windham.

Mathews falls to 1-7 on the season and returns to action next Friday, Oct. 18 when they visit Fairport Harding.
