During the evenings of an autumn four years ago I used to watch Japanese anime (which I adore). I came across Psycho-Pass that left me with a deep sense of bewilderment mixed with disquiet, but also of hope because of all the philosophical implications of the themes dealt with.
In the anime, there is a half-biological, half-digital cyber machine called the Sibyl System that governs every sphere of Japanese society, especially crime. I took inspiration from all this to create a simulator of conversations between different 'brain' entities discussing a specific topic.
The main idea is to use an LLM in a recursive way (in this specific case ChatGPT-4) to generate a simulation theoretically without boundaries and detached from any human interaction. The only human operation is to define the number of 'brain' that will dialogue and the specific topic to be given as input to the LLM. The result can be very fascinating indeed.
